• Updated frequently: Super Ubuntu is released every month, including new updates for the operating system and also for the additional software.
• Multimedia support: Super Ubuntu is prepackaged with support for MP3 files and video-DVDs by default, it also includes additional codecs, and additional media players (VLC Media Player and MPlayer)
• Support for Microsoft Office 2007 file formats: Super Ubuntu includes odf-converter-integrator, which allows users to open files created with Microsoft Office 2007.
• Improved Internet Experience: It includes an additional web browser (Opera), Adobe Flash Player, more communication software (aMSN, Skype and Mozilla Thunderbird) and P2P software (aMule)
• Additional software: It also includes Adobe Reader, GParted, Wine, the GUI for Uncomplicated Firewall, and other software.

Super Ubuntu is available as an ISO image, but also as a VMware image (VMDK) and VirtualBox image.
