The resurrection of Netscape

It's Free, It's Faster, It's Safer...

Unbeatable security
Are you sick of having to re-format you PC because of adware, spyware and malware? Internet Explorer has some of the worst security performance of any web browser on the internet, despite what the adverts tell you.
Firefox is FREE
Firefox was developed by the open source community. It's completely FREE to download, under general public licence.
Firefox is the fastest
Firefox is, on some web pages, up to 5 times as fast as Internet Explorer. It outperforms Internet Explorer on all tests. It also supports tabbed browsing so it uses less memory.
Improved user interface
Firefox has a modern, clean interface that is easy to use and streamlines your web surfing experience.

"Everyone uses Internet Explorer, so it must be the best."

Just because something comes as default, doesn't mean it's the best. MS Paint comes default with Windows too, but you wouldn't use it over Photoshop would you?!

Firefox is the best browser out there. It is completely FREE and takes just a few seconds to download and install. There's really no excuse now not to make the switch!

"I have to stick with Microsoft products because they're better supported."

Now this is one myth that the Microsoft corporation absolutely love to perpetuate! Firefox has a great extension manager that lets you easily add and remove extensions on a whim. Also, because of its open source background, there's literally thousands of extensions available for Firefox - far more than you will find for Internet Explorer.

"I'm used to using Internet Explorer now. It's too much effort to switch over."

Firefox has a very similar interface to Internet Explorer, it's just a much better one. An Internet Explorer user can start using Firefox effectively straight away, and your IE bookmarks can be imported to Firefox automatically. Later on you'll discover all those extra features that Firefox has.
